Our policy on COVID-19

It looks as if it’ll be sometime before we’re able to relax when it comes to the latest Coronavirus, as many continue to pass it around unwittingly. We therefore wanted to outline our policy regarding cleanliness and the rearranging of appointments when needed.

We are a small family run business and as such we do not have a large workforce who are unknowingly spreading this virus amongst themselves, or do we have large numbers of people coming in and out of our residence.

To reduce the risks of spreading the virus, the following will be adhered to:

1. If we are unwell

If we are unwell we will inform you at the earliest opportunity and rearrange the appointment in light of the latest government advice.

2. If you are unwell

If you or a member of the household have a temperature, cough or high temperature up to 14 days before your appointment, please inform us at the earliest opportunity and we will rearrange. Please visit the government website for latest information on symptoms, and what to look out for.

3. We will wash our hands regularly

We will ensure our hands are clean when entering your property and we’ll avoid shaking hands for the time being. Please do also make sure you wash your hands frequently and thoroughly throughout our visit, we will not be offended!

4. Prevent the Spread of Unwanted Bacteria

A deep carpet clean can prevent your carpets from harming your health. They offer the perfect breeding ground for bacteria, exposing you, your family and visiting friends to potentially dangerous viruses. The winter season offers us enough colds and coughs without needing to live in fear of your carpet bacteria!

This virus will not be around forever, but your carpets and upholstery will continue to trap dirt. Do go ahead and make your booking, if we need to rearrange then so be it.
